1 Autoclave from Coesfeld to Malacca, Malaysia

HBH Logistics received an order from an international company active in the mechanical and plant engineering industry to transport an autoclave and accessories to Malacca, Malaysia. The components are used in the aviation industry.

The full scope of the order was as follows:

•  1 autoclave with dimensions of 2160 x 660 x 660 cm = 170,000 kg
• 1 slewing mechanism: 690 x 490 x 165 cm = 14,000 kg
• 5 x 40’ OT containers

The equipment was transported on the following vehicles:
1 heavy load roller with 16 axles
1 flatbed lorry for the slewing mechanism
5 container chassis

The delivery terms of free shipment from Germany to the building site in Malacca, Malaysia (incl. onward carriage) were agreed.

HBH Logistics provided the following services:

• Transport from the place of loading to the nearest barge port
• Loading onto the barge using two vehicle-mounted cranes
• Conventional shipping to SingaporeDirect transhipment from the ocean vessel to a pontoon
• Towing of the pontoon to Melacca
• Transfer of the autoclave from the pontoon to the construction site aboard a flatbed lorry
