Transfer of power station components within Rostock

An International energy company awarded HBH Logistics the contract to transfer power station components to a machine house. The components comprised a turbine, a generator frame and the generator itself.

The challenge of this job lay in the fact that all components had to be installed within just one day.
A 500 ton crane and the team responsible for installation of the machinery using a hydraulic lifting frame were standing by at the site.

The foundations were not at the standard height but rather one metre lower, which meant that all components had to be lowered in using a hydraulic lifting frame.

Installation of the components was successfully completed by the professional team within just one day. All those involved were extremely happy with the results.
